Weekend in the garden

Wow, back to work already. How nice to have a weekend where there's no rain and you can actually get yardwork done. That's exactly what I did. All day Saturday it was off to Home Depot to buy flowers and bushes. Everyone says that you shouldn't keep up with the Jones', but if you have that one house that doesn't cut their lawn and the only landscaping you have is a garden gnome your grandma gave you 20 years ago, you will be the talk of the street in a bad way. If you're like me, you get really confused with what to do in your garden as soon as you walk in to the store. So many flowers and things. Anyways, if you're looking for a good deal on mulch, Marcs has the black hardwood mulch for 1.99 a bag. A good price considering most places want over 3 bucks.
