New member of the family!

So, the weirdest thing happened to Steph and I....We have been sad that we had to put our dog Josie to sleep last month, and little Gertrude has been so lonely without her...We're driving home from grocery shopping and a cute little dog without tags jumps in front of the car....We stop and pick her up and go all around the neighborhood looking for her owner..Nothing...We go to the police station who in turn calls the animal shelter and they take the dog. Since Steph got rather close to the dog in the half an hour we had her, we asked if no one claims her if we could adopt her. The shelter says yes. Well, no one claimed her and now she's ours. It seemed like it was meant to be. She is a fun loving puggle. Her name is Olive. I guess some things just happen for a reason!!
