In Response to my Barbaro song!
Hello everyone,
Thank you for all the comments, both good and bad, about the song I did about Barbaro yesterday. This story has taken on a life of its own, and whatever side of the fence you're on, I appreciate the passion from everyone. I have received comments raging from "I loved it" to "I'm calling P.E.T.A" and "You should be removed from the air permanently". I am a huge animal lover, as you can tell from this blog, and I never meant to offend anyone. We all deal with death differently. Some cry, some keep their feelings bottled-up, some try and lighten the mood. I enjoy laughing and making people laugh and even though I may not do that sometimes, I want you to know my intentions are good. Thanks for listening to our show :)

life happnes!! Things die. Get over it. Glen did not kill the animal himself. Don't get mad unless you are directly involved in the life and death of the horse. Get mad over the big stuff not a silly song to make people laugh. If you don't like it turn off the radio or change the station.

While it probably wasn't the best thing to do, the song really showed no disrespect to Barbaro. You weren't "rude or vulgar" like a listener claimed. The words of the song were not hurtful. I think maybe if the song wasn't sung so close to the death of Barbaro, people wouldn't be so sensitive. Hang in there Glenn, I still love ya :)
