A sad day for us!

Hey guys!

A said day for us. Those of you that know me, know we have a beautiful pug named Miss Gertrude and a rottweiller named Josie. Josie has been around for 9 years and was a wonderful dog. She has suffered from seizures the past 8 and it's been really rough on us. Lots of extra care is needed for a dog like this. Many nights spent awake while we help her through her seizures, stroking her, telling her it's o.k....Josie passed away today. She was fine all week, but then I came home on friday, and I found her lying on her side and unable to get up.....We took her to the vet, put IV's in her, gave her steroids in her legs, but she still couldn't get up. Apparently, The seizures cut off blood circulation to her brain and made her unable to stand. Making the tough decision was one of the harder things we've ever had to do...She was alert in her mind, but not her body. They say they are just pets, but anyone who has had a dog or cat, or any other animal for an extended period of time knows otherwise. I'm really sad right now, so is Steph. We did all we could, but know it's probably better for Josie in the long run. I did not post more pictures of Josie and I regret that. I know no one will feel the same way we do, but I wanted to thank Westpark Animal Hospital for helping us out so much and being so comforting..Josie is in a better place and no more pain..Sorry for the down blog, but I feel better typing it

Thanks!

Glenn

OUR LISTENERS ARE THE BEST!!

Listener Carrie is one creative person. She sent us a song she wrote about The Wilde and Fee Show. This is done to "Soak Up The Sun" by Sheryl Crow! Thanks Carrie, you rock!!!!

Wilde and Fee Fun

The banana phone is ringin’
To issue an invite to me
I’m finally gonna meet
Nick, Glenn, Rebecca, and Fee
They do have games and such
They do have killer prizes
They have what listeners want
Our loyalty is what they got

CHORUS:
We’re gonna stir up some fun
Gonna tell everyone
Its Festive Friday
We’re gonna tell ‘em that
Wilde and Fee are so great
Mike’s traffic makes us late
Up I-71 o we’re gonna stir up some fun
We’re gonna stir up some fun

They do an awesome job
Giving juicy gossip
Glenn makes those zany songs
And Rebecca takes no lip
Every time I turn them on
I’m driving ‘round, they’re cracking up
Talking ‘bout Brit’s latest mess-up
K-fed, kids, and pint size pup
While drinkin’ from my coffee cup

CHORUS

We’re gonna stir up some fun
With the help of Allan’s wife-y
We’re gonna stir up some fun
Who wears the pants in that family
From kids, pets, and healthcare needs
They help with each new cause
And give away as much
As good ole Santa Claus
Every time I turn them on
I’m driving ‘round, they’re cracking up
Talking ‘bout Brit’s latest mess-up
K-fed, kids, and pint size pup
While drinkin’ from my coffee cup

CHORUS

We’re gonna stir up some fun
Got Q104 on
So we can rock on.

Down with the Yankees!!!

Listener Tricia sent me this tune she wrote to New York, New York

Thanks for the funny (and true) songs. If you have a tune, feel free to send my way

Go Tribe!!!

To the tune of New York, New York

Start spreading the news
They’re losing today
The Tribe will win at Jacobs Field
New York, you suck

These pinstripes of blue
Are gonna mis-play
Our bullpen’s gonna shut them down
New York, you suck

We’re gonna show them why our record’s better than theirs We’ll catch their every pop and fly, and homer upstairs

Sure A-rod can hit
But we’ve got CC
And Fausto’s right behind to make
Sure they go home down 2

They might have won it all before
But we’re here to say “NY, no more”
The Tribe will come through, and beat you, New York

Tricia from Richmond Hts.
